
Information for Poster Presenters
All scientific posters will be
displayed in the Exhibition Hall of the Melbourne Convention
Centre. All posters must be
original work and the presenting author will be required to attend its
allocated Poster Discussion Session during the conference.
Poster Discussion Sessions
Poster Discussion Sessions will be held
in the Exhibition Hall during the afternoon tea breaks on Monday 7
July, Tuesday 8 July & Wednesday 9 July and during lunchtime on
Thursday 10 July.
Presenting authors are
required to stand next to their poster so as to be available for
informal discussion on their scheduled day.

Set Up
All posters should be on continuous
display for the entire conference.
Available poster set-up times:
Presenters are required to supply their own:
-
Sufficient quantity of velcro dots/strips
to attach their poster to the poster board
(note that Blu Tac, double sided tape,
thumb tacs or push pins will not be
appropriate)
-
Approx 60 x A4-size handouts placed
inside a clear plastic sleeve attached (using velcro dots, etc) to the
foot of the poster board
Removal
Posters must be removed:
It will be the presenter's responsibility to
remove their poster - there is no guarantee that uncollected posters
will be available post-conference.
Poster Specifications
1.
Posters should display the following:

Title of poster
-
Names of all authors, co-authors and affiliations
-
Images or visually attractive
graphs or basic data tables, etc
-
An
introduction
-
A
conclusion
2. The presentation of the poster should be simple, concise and
visually attractive.
3. Graphs may be used but
avoid using large tables of data.
4.
Poster Boards will be portrait-shaped and posters must not extend beyond
the boundaries of the poster board (boards measure: 1m wide x 2.4m
high).
