Infection Control is an important responsibility in healthcare and many healthcare
professionals, including microbiologists, contribute substantially.

Venue:  La Trobe Theatre (Level 2), Melbourne Convention Centre

A full day has been devoted to current information in this important area of clinical practice.

Infection Control sessions will also run concurrently with other programmed scientific sessions &/or workshops.

 

All sessions will be held at the Melbourne Convention Centre.

 

ADMISSION

Conference registration is required (either a Full Registration or Tuesday Day Registration).

 

Open to the wider community and industry users, anyone who’s interested is welcome to purchase a conference registration to attend the specially scheduled Infection Control Day sessions.

 

Registration Includes:

  • All specially scheduled Infection Control Day plenary and symposia sessions (see program, invited speakers and topics proposed below)

  • All Infection Control scientific poster displays

  • Full admission to the trade exhibition

  • Complimentary morning and afternoon tea

  • Opportunity for lunch in the exhibition hall (lunch ticket required, $25 - can be purchased via the Registration Form or onsite at the conference)

  • Full admission to the Trade Night cocktails 1hr social and networking function held in the exhibition hall (includes complimentary canapés and beverages as served)

  • Full admission to the News from the Hospitals function (held in the La Trobe Theatre, Melbourne Convention Centre) - see proposed program below

  • Opportunity to attend any other ASM 2008 scientific session that's held on that day (Tuesday 8 July) at the Melbourne Convention Centre.  This includes plenary sessions, symposia and proffered paper sessions as well as opportunity to view all ASM 2008 scientific poster displays in the exhibition hall.

  • Also includes opportunity to attend complimentary workshops being held on that day
